Plum Cares Initiative: Making a Positive Impact through Community Outreach
Since its launch in 2016, the Plum Cares collection has been an unwavering success. What began as a single product in support of a single organization has blossomed into the PlumCares initiative, embodying our steadfast belief in the significance of community support and social responsibility. Our ultimate goal is to create a lasting, positive impact on the communities we serve.
Within each main collection, Plum designates one leotard as a Plum Cares leo, and a portion of the proceeds from its sale is dedicated to the Plum Cares. These contributions are directed towards 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations and charities, including esteemed institutions such as the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), Special Olympics, and humanitarian relief organizations.
Plum is more than just a manufacturer of top-notch gymnastics apparel. We actively foster creativity and community involvement, exemplified by our highly anticipated annual Promote Positivity Leo Design Contest. This exciting initiative invites gymnasts of all ages and skill levels worldwide to submit their unique designs, offering them the extraordinary opportunity to have their leotards produced and sold by Plum Practicewear. The contest is a cherished highlight for our Plum Girls and employees alike, fostering a sense of inspiration and camaraderie.

In 2018, we expanded our philanthropic endeavors to include education by establishing the Plum Cares Academic Scholarship. This annual scholarship supports gymnasts pursuing higher education at accredited post-secondary institutions, such as colleges, universities, and trade schools.
