At Plum, we firmly believe in the power of paying it forward and recognizing the unique gifts within each person. That's why we are thrilled to introduce the Plum Cares Gifted Invitational, an exceptional gymnastics meet that not only celebrates athletes' talents but also raises funds for charitable organizations. Join us for an unforgettable experience that combines the thrill of competition with the joy of making a positive impact.
Competition and Recognition:
The invitational brings together gymnasts from different clubs, competing in Levels 2–4, Xcel Bronze and Silver, and JOGA. The excitement of the competition is heightened by the knowledge that every routine performed contributes to a greater cause. Each registered gymnast participating in the event will receive at least one Plum leotard. Furthermore, outstanding achievements will be acknowledged through special awards, including leotards, medals, and team banners.
A Rewarding Experience for All:
Participating in the Plum Cares Gifted Invitational goes beyond the thrill of gymnastics. It's an opportunity for athletes to embrace the #ChampionsOfKindness movement, developing values of generosity and empathy as they witness the impact their efforts can have on the lives of others. We create a meaningful and impactful experience for our young gymnasts by fostering a spirit of gratitude and compassion.
Save the Date:
Mark your calendars for November 3rd, 4th and 5th, 2023, as we gather at the venue at 1 Tingley Lane, Edison, NJ. The Plum Cares Gifted Invitational promises to be an event that not only showcases incredible gymnastic talent but also spreads joy and support to each club's chosen charitable organization.
Our vision for this invitational is ambitious; it might start modestly, but with your invaluable support, it will undoubtedly flourish and grow. We are delighted to have established a connection with a sizeable venue that shares our enthusiasm for this event and hopes to host the meet as we grow!
Philanthropy: A Journey of Giving:
- Each gym will select a 501(c)(3) charity to support.
- Participate in "Coins For A Cause": Plum will provide each gym with collection buckets to gather change/donations.
- Bring your collection bucket to the meet, and Plum will tally all change/donations received.
- At the event, Plum will have collection buckets for each club's chosen charity, allowing spectators to contribute.
- At the awards ceremony of the final session, a live event will reveal the collection winner!
- As a culmination, Plum will present the coveted traveling trophy and add funding to support the winning club's donation.
