Plum in Partnership with JOGA Names Sabrina Boyle as the 2022 Scholarship Recipient
Plum, in partnership with Jersey Optional Gymnastics Association (JOGA), is proud to announce Sabrina Boyle of Indigo Gymnastics as the recipient of this year’s $1,000 scholarship!
Boyle is from New Providence and is a recent graduate of New Providence High School. Boyle has been involved in gymnastics for fifteen years, with her proudest accomplishment being when she completed a back double full for the first time during her floor routine this year. In addition to her gymnastics career, Boyle also participated in cross country and track and field throughout her four years in high school. During her senior year, she was named the captain of both her cross country and track teams.
Boyle will be attending Ithaca College in the fall and plans on enrolling an exploratory program which will allow her to hone in on new interests and a potential field of study. Although Boyle will not be continuing her gymnastics career, she believes that winning this scholarship is an excellent send-off stating, “Winning this scholarship is incredibly meaningful to me. Gymnastics has been an important part of my life since I was young, and I would not be the person I am today without it. The constant encouragement and friendship from my teammates and coaches throughout my time as a gymnast has allowed me to develop a strong work ethic and become a better person. Being selected for this scholarship recognizes what a huge part of my life gymnastics has been, and it is a remarkable way to end my gymnastics career of fifteen years.”
Plum is an official sponsor of JOGA and has committed to donating to the JOGA annual academic scholarship fund for the past five years.
