The Privacy of Children
Protecting children’s privacy is important to Plum. This Website is designed to attract a general audience, but Plum does collect Personal Information from children under the age of thirteen (13). Specifically, with respect to children under the age of thirteen (13), Plum only collects Personal Information from children who apply: (i) to be a Brand Ambassador and/or (ii) to participate in Plum’s model casting calls. Plum also collects Personal Information from children ages seventeen (17) and/or eighteen (18) who apply for the Plum + Grander Scholarship for Promising Young Gymnasts.
Plum collects the following types of Personal Information through the Brand Ambassador application:
- First name;
- Last name;
- Age;
- Address;
- Parent/guardian(s) name;
- Phone number;
- E-mail address;
- Gymnastics gym/team (if applicable);
- Competitive level (if applicable);
- Gymnastics discipline (if applicable);
- Social media profile(s) (specifically, Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube) handles and number of followers;
- Photograph(s) and/or video link(s);
- Link to the applicant’s personal website (if applicable);
- Link to the applicant’s personal blog (if applicable);
- Unique qualities the applicant possesses that would make her a great ambassador;
- The applicant’s passions, motivations, and inspirations;
- Description of the applicant’s participation in athletics and what her goals are; and
- Any other pertinent information about the applicant.
- First name;
- Last name;
- Age;
- Address;
- Height;
- The applicant’s Instagram username; and
- A full-length front, back and profile photograph of the applicant wearing a leotard and/or top and shorts combination.

- Parent/guardian(s) name;

- Volunteer and/or work experience;
- Extracurricular activities;
- Description of applicant’s attendance during high school, including the number of absences by grade for grades 9-12;
- Explanation of any absences;
- Explanation of any detentions and/or suspensions during high school;
- A copy of applicant’s most recent report card;
- A brief description of applicant’s gymnastics career; and
- The name of the college/university applicant wishes or plans to attend and applicant’s anticipated major.
All the foregoing Personal Information collected by Plum is shared with Our marketing department only. At no time does Plum share any of the foregoing Personal Information with any third parties. Plum will never require children to disclose more Personal Information than is reasonably necessary to participate in any of the foregoing activities.
We will never knowingly request, use, and/or disclose Personal Information from anyone under the age of thirteen (13) without prior verifiable parental consent. If Plum learns that a child under the age of thirteen (13)has provided Us with Personal Information without parental consent, then We will remove such Personal Information from our files. At any time, a verified parent or guardian may: (i) review all Personal Information collected from their child; (ii) revoke their consent; and (iii) direct their child’s Personal Information to be deleted from Our records.
