Plum Practicewear in Partnership with JOGA Names Haley Beady as the 2021 Scholarship Recipient
Recognizing Character, Hard Work, and Promoting Positivity in Local Gymnastics
Plum Practicewear, in partnership with Jersey Optional Gymnastics Association (JOGA), is proud to announce Haley Beady of Aerials Gymnastics as the recipient of this year’s $1,000 scholarship!
Haley is from Lincroft, NJ, and is a graduating senior from Middletown High School South. She has done gymnastics with Aerials Gymnastics in Eatontown, NJ, for the past six years and occasionally acts as a coach at Aerials. She competed on the varsity team for Middletown South Gymnastics during all four of her high school years and served as captain this past season. Haley is also a peer leader with her high school. In the fall, Haley plans to attend the University of Alabama, where she looks forward to majoring in Kinesiology and Athletic Training.
When asked about her particular development and perseverance this past year, Haley states, "one of my strongest beliefs is that everything happens for a reason. This season and this year have taught me that at the end of the day, life is going to play out just how it's supposed to for you. I thank my team, coaches, and family for everything they have done all these years to get me here and for this opportunity … it all happened for a reason."
Plum is an official sponsor of JOGA and has committed to donating to the JOGA annual academic scholarship fund for the past four years.
