Plum Becomes Official 2022 Leotard Supplier of International Gymnastics Camp (IGC)
Internationally Recognized Gymnastics Camp Partners With New Jersey-based Leotard Supplier.
Plum, an international gymnastics apparel company has been announced as the official 2022 leotard supplier of the International Gymnastics Camp (IGC). Founded by the Klaus family and located in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, IGC is the longest Accredited ACA Gymnastics Summer Camp and has hosted over one hundred and fifty thousand campers from over sixty countries since 1971.
Plum has created a custom, limited-edition leotard collection available for purchase exclusively at the IGC Canteen Camp Store that will launch during the first session on June 19th. By purchasing Plum leotards within the IGC store, campers will be able to try the garments on-site, avoid shipping costs, and include it in their Camper Gift Bags.
IGC chose to partner with Plum due to their commitment to comfort and quality with each product they make. They were also drawn to the positive culture the company creates, a belief both organizations are aligned with. These two prominent gymnastics figures have strongly encouraged positive, safe, healthy, and kind environments in their communities since their early beginnings.
Both companies have dedicated programs that focus on helping to promote positive athletic environments and give back to their communities. IGC has a Kount on Kindness program, aiming to increase caring behavior by teaching campers the social benefits of unselfishness and connection. While Plum has a Plum Cares line which is their philanthropic endeavor that dedicates one leotard of each seasonal collection as the Plum Cares leotard, in which a portion of the proceeds goes towards the $5,000 Plum Cares Academic Scholarship. Contributions to this fund make it possible for Plum to give back to the community and help graduating senior gymnasts who have not received an athletic scholarship continue their education.
Both organizations are thrilled about this new partnership with IGC’s Director, Brent Klaus stating, “We look forward to our partnership with Plum, a company that shares our values of kindness, positivity, and safety and who will provide comfortable, affordable, and fun leotards for our campers this summer.”
Gennaro Palladino, Plum’s Managing Partner added, “We are excited to embark on this partnership with such a renowned organization whose mission aligns with our beliefs as a company, and who embodies such a positive force in the gymnastics community. Plum is built on its pillars of positivity and kindness, and we couldn't think of a better organization to partner with in order to deliver this message.”
This is a wonderful partnership between two of the most positive organizations in the gymnastics industry and brings excitement to the community as a whole.
